I found this dress in SaveMart several months ago. I just about died when I saw it and I’m 99% sure for several seconds I was clinically dead when I first tried it on. It’s like this dress was made for me! It came from France and it is so very perfect, at least in my eyes.
I paired it with my Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony boots (my disco boots). I want more boots like these, but in a solid colour and with a thicker, lower heel. If anyone knows some places online (which ship relatively cheaply to New Zealand), hit me up!
Off topic, but I have a short story to share - you may shed a tear, hell you may even shed two...
On an ordinary morning, of an anything but extraordinary day, I discovered strawberry Tic Tacs contain sugar. The days that followed were a whirlpool of melancholy, anger and regret. You know how you use gum to clean your teeth on-the-go? I was using Tic Tacs like that.
For months, I was gobbling Tic Tacs down religiously after meals, rubbing them on my teeth, filled with the pride that originates from knowing you have incredible personal hygiene.
Don’t blame me. They were next to the sugar-free gum in the supermarket.
Note: I do brush my teeth… twice daily in fact.

I must say, this is not a dress that would normally pull my attention into its gravitational orbit, but I am seriously in love with it on you! It has such character and beautiful craftsmanship, and those sleeves! Don't even get me started! The romanticism in their volume is lovely!
